Course structure
Our course covers all essential components of the CILS B1 exam, ensuring a well-rounded preparation.
During the course, exam sessions will also be simulated, using old exam papers.
By taking practice exams, you will get used to the exam structure and the time provided to complete it. Furthermore, by practicing, you can easily check your expected score.
Please note that to obtain the CILS B1 Cittadinanza certification, candidates must pass all parts of the exam; failure in any part requires retaking the entire exam. The CILS B1 exam is structured as follows: Listening (25%), Reading Comprehension (25%), Writing (25%), and Speaking (25%), with a total duration of 2 hours and 5 minutes.
Course and exam dates
This course takes place twice a year, the training from early September to late November is thought for the December session, while the training from early March to late May is ideal if you are planning to take the exam in the June session.
Each week you will attend two lessons of 100 minutes each, on Monday and Wednesday evening, at 17.00 CET.
Course admission
All participants must pass an A2 test to join the course. If you do not pass, you have three options: request a refund, exchange your purchase for 15 private online lessons, or defer your enrollment to the next preparation course in a few months. Before enrolling, you can take a preliminary 5-minute test here: Italian Test A2.
Exam centers and costs
You can then take the exam at our school in Florence, the University of Siena, or any other official exam center.
You can find a complete list of the centers in Italy here. Abroad, exams are administered in these locations.
Enrolling in the exam costs an additional 100€ in Italy and abroad.
